HADİM
Hadim is a town established on the narrow valleys between the hills of the Taşeli Plateau, in the eastern part of the Western Taurus mountain range that separates the Mediterranean coastline from the Konya Plain, and its history dates back to ancient times. There are many settlement remains from the Byzantine and Roman periods in its vicinity.
After the Battle of Manzikert in 1071, a tribe headed by Kara Hacı Mustafa Efendi spread to Anatolia and settled in the place where Hadim was located. Our District, which became a place where religious scholars were trained during the cultural Turkification of Anatolia, was named "Belde-i Hadimül-ilm".
It is located in the Mediterranean region as a climate feature. Aktepe is at an altitude of 2,588 meters in the Gevne region, which is on the border of the district with Alanya district, and it constitutes the highest point of the district.
Hadim is famous for its cherries and grapes. In addition, His Holiness Hadimi, Sayyid Bayram Veli, Abdulezel Pasha and Aşık Ömer are among the famous people.
Yerköprü Waterfall, Trout Facilities, Aşağı Hadim Historical Mosque, Dülgerler Cave, Mütfüler Mansion and Hz. Hadimi Historical Library is one of the places worth seeing.
